What to Expect from Your Appointment
From the moment you arrive at our bridal boutique, you’ll be welcomed into a calm, supportive environment.
We offer:
- A one-to-one 90 minute private consultation
- We'll chat about your wedding and if you have tried on dresses before
- Once you've chosen a few dresses, we'll try them on and see if they match your vision and put aside your favourites to try on again later
- When you find your perfect dress you can say "Yes to the Dress"
- You can purchase the boutique sample or we'll take measurements for a made-to-order gown

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I park?
The boutique is at home, so you can park outside the front door.
How far in advance should I order my wedding dress?
We recommend ordering your bridal gown at least 7-12 months before your wedding day. Made-to-order dresses can take between 6-22 weeks to order, depending on the designer. This will also give a seamstress time to make any alterations if needed. However, if you would like to order your dress sooner, then that is absolutely fine.
All our boutique sample gowns are available to purchase off the rail, perfect for last-minute brides.
How many guests can I bring?
We have seating for 3 guests. A perfect number for opinions and support.
Is there a charge for appointments?
No, we do not charge for appointments. However, we do request that if you are unable to attend, to give us as much notice as possible. No shows cost small businesses money.
Can I try on dresses before buying?
Absolutely. Our appointments are one-to-one and give you time to explore, try on, and make the right decision.
Are your dresses brand new?
We stock a mix of brand-new designer pieces and sample dresses that are in excellent condition.
Do you offer a range of plus sizes wedding dresses?
Yes! We have a range of plus-size sample dresses in Basildon, and are always expanding our collection to include more styles.
Can I alter the dress after purchasing?
Yes. Although we don’t offer in-house tailoring we can supply a list of seamstresses in Basildon and Essex.
Do you offer payment plans?
Whilst we don’t currently offer instalments for our boutique sample gowns, it may be possible to split the cost over 2 months. Please feel free to ask.
For made-to-order gowns we require 50% deposit when placing the order, with the balance due before the dress is collected. Interim payments (whilst the dress is being manufactured) towards to balance are optional.
